The Weekend...

Well its Saturday night- and i should be out on a hot date tonight- but instead i have been watching the footie.. GO THE EAGLES!!! So happy they won. I went Scrapbooking last night and did not leave til 2.30am as Jo and Jen had work to do- when i got home i was stupid enough to read my book so i didnt end up getting to sleep til 3.30-4am. I was up at 10am- mum and dad got back from Kalbarri yesterday and Abbie had a present to give me. It was a cute Necklace. Today i have spent most of the day at Jen's.. just chilling out- watching movies. I am going to watch "Five fingers" so better go. Tomorrow i am meeting up with a guy i met on Wednesday night- he's called Adam and is 25.. We are going to Hillary's for lunch and a coffee... watch this space!! :)

At the Scrapbook Shop...

Well today i got up early and went to the Scrapbook Shop in Ellenbrook to do the Tuesday morning crop. Lennie was there and a lady called Robyn. I had a great time catching up with Lennie and Jenny and creating. I had to complete an altered art piece and the theme was "yellow pages," so i created a mini book-and painted it yellow and black and did a-c of the alphabet in there and incorperated the real yellow pages in there. It looks ok- Jen likes it. We had a nice lunch and i walked across to the shops to look for a netball skirt for tonight- (first night if netball) and they dont have any!! Was very dissapointed they dont stock adults skirts. Anyway, enough blabbering- must get ready for tonight. Luv always vik xxx

Happy Easter

Hi Its been ages since i last blog'd. The reason behind this is pure laziness!!lol.. not really. I haven't been able to upload any photo's onto my blog- theres something wrong with the connection (too slow i think- tried convincing the folks to get broadband- not worked as yet!!). Hence, my last blog i couldnt put the photo's up!! Hapy Easter to you all, i hope you all had a blast.. my Easter has been.. quiet. I didnt get any easter eggs or chocolate- which i wasnt suprised at- my folks are away n Kalbarri at the moment so no choc for me:( The house is a lot quieter without them all here- but it can get pretty lonely and boring (but i am soo happy there is no mum around to tell me to get out of bed- lol) I thought i had better blog as Cath must be getting bored and there is nothing to read!! I haven't scrapped since last Friday- and i have wanted too but i have been kinda busy. On Friday i went around to my friends house- he had a get together. It was fun catching up with old friends and seeing Clare again. I caught a taxi back to my house at 3am and couldnt sleep til 5!! So i was lazy on Saturday and slept til 5pm.. i know it was a long ime- but my body must have needed it! I went to Sam's for dinner on Sat night and it was soo good i went there last night too for dinner. Tonight i have been invited around to my Best friends house for dinner and to watch the Apprentice. I havent seen Jen since last Wednesday and it seems like forever- so it will be good to catch up. I am reading a few books at the moment, the one i love is called"be Happy" its about changing the way you think and your life. In one chapter it looks at living in the NOW, here is what it says: All you have is now, The measure of our peace of mind and the measure of our personal effectiveness are determined by how much we are able to live in the present moment. Regardless of what happened yesterday and what might happen tomorrow, NOW is where you are. In a nutshell... Time doesn't really exist, except as an abstract concept in your head. The present moment is the only time you have. Make something of this moment! None of us has a guarantee that we will be here tomorrow. Now is all we have. Have a great Easter everyone.. Happy Valentines Day ...

Well i hope everyone is well. A lot has happened this week- i went bowling last Thursday (and beat Tristan) and had a movie night on Saturday.. Last night i took my Mum to see Music & Lyrics- i won tickets from 92.9 to see the premiere (apparently it was the first screening in the world last night- hence there were metal detectors and security everywhere!! The movie was fantastic- if you like a good comedy your'll love it! I love Hugh Grant and he was gorgeous in it! Drew Barrymore played a good part to- its a feel good comedy!! No valentines for me im afraid to say- quite boring really- so i've turned a negative into a positive and started creating! (What better way to cheer myself up!) I have just done this layout- i am happy with it- the picture isnt all that clear but you get the jist of it. The three photo's are of my little sister (who is 10-Abbie) and this picture was taken in Dongorra in April 2006. Abbie is just a natural beauty- she'll be a right looker when she hits her teens. Abbie looks so happy and cute in the photo's- she couldnt believe there was a tree in the ocean!! Bless her. I love my little sister sooo much. Have to go now- dinner is ready and the biggest loser is about to start and i have to do some more creating!! xxx photo to come soon

wednesday night

Its been a while since i put something on here... not much to report on really. I havent been creating that much- i have been busy with moving house etc that i havent really had much time to sit and create. I'm at jens tonight- so i am hoping to finish a layout i did at my mums the other day. I did do a little creating over the weekend- not a lot but i like it. I rarely scrap any photo's of myself so i am pleased with how this turned out.

I used the imaginisce paper and the tigerlilly flower- i love the flowers!! Anyway, the new season of House is on and i have some creating to do! xxx

Friday Night Crop

The first scrapbooking crop night was last night at the Scrapbook Shop in Ellenbrook- i had a ball. I managed to complete two layouts last night! I created a layout of my best friend Jen- a photo her husband took whilst she was at the Pinnacles on Thursday. Jen hates photo's but this one is great! Jen loved the layout so much she asked me to do her one!!

The time flew by and before we knew it, it was midnight! It was so hot that Jo invited us (Jen and I) around for a swim! We didnt get home til 2.30am!! A good night had by all of us!
